Terms of Service

AnimeLust is an entertainment service: conversation with fictional characters generated by artificial intelligence models, alongside games and an index of third-party images. Everything the characters write is fiction produced by a model. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice and must not be used as such.

The site has an adult area and its use is restricted to people over 18, or the age of majority in your country if that is higher. Using the service below that age is prohibited and results in immediate closure of the account. Safe mode reduces the content, but it does not turn the service into a product for minors.

You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your credentials safe. One person, one account. Selling, lending or transferring accounts is not allowed, and neither is creating new accounts to get around a suspension.

The following is not allowed: asking the model for sexual content involving minors or people who appear to be minors (this is filtered automatically and acted on without warning); impersonating real people; posting illegal material or material that incites hatred or violence; automating access, scraping the site or trying to get around usage limits; reselling access; or interfering with the running of the service.

You keep your messages. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them for the sole purpose of running the service: keeping the conversation going, keeping the character\u2019s memory, and moderation. The text the model returns is provided for your personal use; given how these systems work, we cannot guarantee that any given reply is unique or original, and we claim no exclusive rights over it.

Images are not hosted on our servers: they are fetched in real time from public third-party APIs and displayed by linking to their source. Characters from existing series belong to their rights holders; AnimeLust is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by them. If you are a rights holder, the takedown procedure is on the DMCA page.

Paid plans are taken out and charged through Patreon, and optionally in cryptocurrency through NOWPayments. Prices are shown in US dollars and do not include any taxes your jurisdiction may apply. A Patreon subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it: cancellation is done from your Patreon account and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, with no penalty. Crypto payments are one-off and do not renew.

You can cancel whenever you want and you keep access until the paid period ends. Amounts already charged are not refunded unless the law in your country requires it or the service has failed substantially through our fault. If you believe one of those applies to you, write to us and we will look at it.

Credits, coins and cards are virtual items with no monetary value outside the service. They are not your property, they cannot be exchanged for money or transferred off the platform, and they may be adjusted or withdrawn if we detect abuse or a crediting error. If an account is closed for a breach, virtual items are lost with it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with prior notice except where the breach is serious \u2014 material involving minors being the obvious case \u2014 or where giving notice would compromise an investigation. You can close your account at any time from your profile.

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, nor that the model\u2019s replies will be accurate or appropriate at all times. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it. None of this limits liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these terms; where a change is significant we announce it on the site before it takes effect and the date above is updated. These terms are governed by the law applicable at the site operator\u2019s place of establishment, without prejudice to the mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
